Vote in MOC Governance

MOC governance allows token holders and stakers to participate in protocol decisions through on-chain voting.

Before reaching the voting stage, proposals are discussed publicly in the Money On Chain governance forum. This off-chain discussion allows the community to review the proposal, understand its impact, and provide feedback before it enters the governance process.

Once submitted to governance, a proposal can move through three phases:

Pre-voting Phase: MOC holders can support the proposal to help it advance to the voting stage. If you support a proposal during this phase, you do not need to vote again later.

Voting Phase: MOC holders can vote in favor of or against the proposal.

Implementation Phase: The voting results are finalized and approved proposals can be executed through the governance system.

Vote with MOC Manager

MOC Manager allows you to stake MOC tokens, manage vesting positions, and participate in protocol governance.

To access MOC Manager, go to [PILL] https://manage.moneyonchain.com/ and connect your wallet.

Select your preferred wallet and sign the connection request.

Once connected, you can access the different sections of the platform. You can also switch between light and dark mode at any time using the toggle in the bottom-right corner.

To participate in governance, open the Voting section from the top navigation menu.

If there is an active proposal, you will see its current status, voting progress, and a summary of the proposal details.

The proposal details include the contract affected by the proposed change and a link to the governance forum discussion where you can review the full proposal and community feedback.

Depending on the current stage of the process, you may be able to support the proposal during the Pre-voting Phase or vote in favor of or against it during the Voting Phase.

To cast your vote, click the corresponding button.

Review your selected option and confirm the transaction in your wallet.

Your voting power is determined by the amount of MOC tokens you have staked. When you vote, the full amount of your staked MOC is used as voting power.

After voting, your staked MOC tokens become locked for governance until the voting period ends. During this period, they will appear as locked for voting and cannot be unstaked.
