How to stake MOC tokens

Whether you earned MOC tokens through the Liquidity Mining Program or acquired them through a swap, you can stake them directly in the protocol to earn staking rewards while maintaining full control of your assets.

Staked MOC tokens continue to belong to you. There is no need to transfer custody to a third party, and your governance participation remains tied to your stake.

Rewards accumulate automatically while your tokens remain staked.

Before staking, make sure you have already claimed any MOC rewards available through the Liquidity Mining Program.

Available staking interfaces

MOC staking can be performed through different interfaces:

InterfaceRecommended for
MOC ManagerMost users. Provides staking, governance, vesting management, and withdrawal tracking in a single application.
Money On Chain dAppUsers who already use the main protocol interface.
MOC ToolsAdvanced users, oracle operators, and legacy governance workflows.

How staking works

The staking process is the same regardless of the interface you use.

First, connect your wallet and stake the desired amount of MOC tokens. While your tokens remain staked, staking rewards accumulate automatically.

When you decide to stop staking, you can submit an unstake request. The requested amount then enters a 30-day waiting period before it becomes available for withdrawal. Once the waiting period ends, the tokens can be withdrawn back to your wallet.

Staking with MOC Manager

MOC Manager is the recommended interface for staking and governance management.

Go to [PILL]https://manage.moneyonchain.com and connect your wallet. Once connected, the dashboard displays your MOC balances across different states:

Balance: Tokens available in your wallet.
In Stake: Tokens currently staked.
Unstaking: Tokens in the unstake waiting period.
Ready to Withdraw: Tokens available to withdraw.
Stake in Voting: Tokens currently participating in governance votes.

Stake MOC tokens

  1. Open the Staking section.
  2. Select the Stake tab.
  3. Enter the amount of MOC you want to stake.
  4. Click Stake.
  5. Confirm the transaction in your wallet.

If this is your first staking operation, you may be asked to approve the use of your MOC tokens before completing the stake transaction. After the transaction is confirmed, your balances will update automatically.

Unstake MOC tokens

  1. Open the Unstake tab.
  2. Enter the amount you want to unstake.
  3. Click Unstake.
  4. Confirm the transaction in your wallet.

After confirmation, the 30-day waiting period begins.During this period, the unstaked tokens do not receive staking rewards.

Withdraw MOC tokens

In the list of pending withdrawal requests, you can track the amount being withdrawn, the current status of each request, and the expiration date of the unstake period.

Until the expiration date is reached, you can use the Restake option to return the tokens to the staking pool, canceling the pending withdrawal request and resuming staking rewards. If you later decide to withdraw those tokens again, a new unstake request and waiting period will be required.

Once the 30-day waiting period ends, the Withdraw option becomes available, allowing you to transfer the tokens back to your wallet.

Alternative interfaces

Money On Chain dApp

The main Money On Chain dApp also includes staking functionality. From the MOC section of the dApp, users can stake and unstake MOC tokens, withdraw completed unstake requests, and claim rewards earned through the Liquidity Mining Program.

MOC Tools

MOC Tools provides staking functionality together with governance and oracle management features. This interface is primarily intended for advanced users, governance participants, and oracle operators who need access to additional protocol tools.
